On Friday, 6-6-2003, Mike took me to see an old classic movie, at a Classic Theater downtown with some friends from our ATLAS group.

The Fox Theater has been around a long time, and was refurbished in 1984. It is a grand theater and is something to behold.

The architecture of the building is something from a different era. They just don't make buildinds like this anymore. Very classic, and dramatic.

Strangely, just down the street, is a building that is almost completely boarded up. I guess the neighbors are waiting for St. Louis University to buy those buildings to expand it's campus.

Tonites movies (Independance Day, Aliens, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show) were the "SCI-FI NITE" entry into a two week long series of movies at the fox showing appreciation to the fans.

Here is theFox Emblem. The tickets this evening and all the weeks these shows are shown are free/at no charge shows. The theater is awesome.

There is a showcase that lines the glass walls of the window displays on the streets around the Fox theater.
